In Hapcheon, I will visit Haeinsa first and my grandmother's hometown.
To be there, it is necessary to transfer in Daegu.

From Okcheon to Daegu,

From Daegu - Hapcheon (Haeinsa)

Haeinsa is a head temple of Korean Buddhism located in the Gaya mountains. It was first built in 802. Legend says that two Korean monks returned from China, Suneung and Ijeong, and healed King Aejang's wife of illness. In gratitude of the Buddha's mercy, the king ordered the construction of the temple. Another account, by Choe Chi-Won in 900 states that Suneung and his disciple Ijeong, gained the support of a queen dowager who converted to Buddhism and then helped to finance the construction of the temple. The temple is also one of the Three Jewel Temples of Korea, and represents Dharma or the Buddha's teachings. It was the home temple of the influential Rev. Seongcheol, who died in 1993. 

In Haeinsa, there is a national treasure which is Tripitaka koreana. 
Tripitaka Koreana is a collection of the Tripitaka (Buddhist scriptures and the Sanskrit word for "three baskets") carved onto 81,258 wooden printing blocks in the 13th century.
Proudly, it is the world's most comprehensive and oldest intact version of Buddhist canon in Hanja script, with no known errors or errata in the 53,382,960 characters which are organised in over 1496 titles and 6568 volumes. In addition, Tripitaka Koreana is on the UNESCO World Heritage list.

From Daejeon to Okcheon which is third destination

In Okcheon, there is a famous temple which is selected as one of the most beautiful places when you visit in Korea by CNN. The name of the temple is Yongam temple.

According to CNN, it explains that the temple is originally built in 552 and taken its name from a nearby rock shaped like a dragon (Yong means a dragon in Korean). In fact, it was supposed to have seen the shape, unfortunately it was destroyed during the period of Japanese colonial rule. 

The legend has been come down that the last prince of the Shila Dynasty wept here hometown. He was on his way to Geumgang Mountain after the fall of the dynasty. On brisk fall mornings, the mountains surrounding this temple are slathered with a sea of clouds, and the sight of the sun rising through this dense whiteness of clouds renders the viewer speechless.

This is my second route which move from Cheongju to Daejeon.

Est. time : 1 hr

In Daejeon, there is an interesting place which is foot spa experience hall.
It is a public place which any people can use however it is recommended to wash feet before use the spa.
The mineral water is offered by a nearby hotel and the water is filtered regularly.

My first visit place is Cheongju (No. 2), it could be skipped to visit Cheonan.

Once I get there, I will visit Suam alley, mural village.

Brief information

This village was remodeled for a public art project in 2008 and also well known as a drama location. It is open throughout the year but considered to refrain from 21:00. In addition, this is one of the most famous places for a date.

Bus trip in Korea

After I graduate, I would like to travel from my hometown which is Incheon to Busan. It seems like a normal travel but there is an interesting thing which is the use of transportation. During the travel, I will use only buses instead of any other transport. In addition, it is planned to visit various tourist attractions on the route. This wish is designed to provide readers with plans first how I am going to travel. Later on, when I finished the travel, I will promise you to upload the reviews.
