Samuel's Second Wish:
I have always wanted to know what it would be like to Pilot an F-16 Jet.
Watching the movie Top gun as a little boy was probably one of the coolest inspirations to fly in a F-16, I enjoyed the spectacular movements and sudden changes in direction during the movie, it is one thing I was totally scared of yet at the same time really wanting to do.
Another cool scene is from the movie Skyline 2010 where a B52 Stealth Bomber completes a series of loops and manoeuvres whilst dodging missiles to destroy an alien ship.
I bought the DVD right after watching the movie and replayed that scene
over and over.
Just imagine flying through the air, looking down at the wonderful world, flying as far as you like with the only thing holding you back is your harness.
If I ever get to save enough I would go for
an an F-16 joyride which a few companies run for around
3-4 thousand for 15 minutes airtime. =D CoolCool
Here is some information on the actual A- 37B Dragonfly flight which provides an experience of a lifetime , Enjoy!!
Your adventure flight begins with meeting your pilot and
other members of our team in our office at Bankstown Airport, before being
guided through a video pre-flight briefing and asked to choose from a variety
of missions.
After take off you will bank towards Hoxton Park, before
soaring over Penrith with the Great Dividing Range visible over your right
shoulder. Then within what will seem like seconds it's on to Appin, where
you'll assume a nose down "rocket attack" profile for a mock bombing
raid on a target - the "Golf Ball" tower near Cataract Reservoir.
After your successful bombing mission you'll break right and escape, cruising
back to base!
On completion of your sortie, we return to base and there
you will be presented with a completion certificate. You will remember your
A-37B Dragon flight for the rest of your life!
